September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re challenging government to create a travel fund for young cancer patients, so they don’t have to worry about mounting costs caused by the cancer commute, travelling an average of 60 miles for treatment.
Dealing with cancer is tough enough without money worries. But #cancercosts young cancer patients, and their families, £600 more every month.
And £180 of that (more than a quarter!) goes on their cancer commute, a 60-mile round trip (on average) travelling to and from hospital for treatment.
Show your support for families facing the cancer commute and wear your gold ribbon.
Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
